CRAFTING VISUALS: A JOURNEY ACROSS TWO WORLDS
My journey as a visual storyteller began in analog film and continues today in generative AI. I started hands-on with cameras and lighting, developing my craft on sets and in studios. This foundation shaped how I work to this day. Every angle, every detail, and every nuance matters. Those early years built a practical understanding of image making. Decisions made in camera, lens choice, and lighting directly influence mood, clarity, and narrative presence. That thinking remains central to my practice.
Blending Tradition with AI
Today, I combine classical cinematic techniques with the possibilities of generative AI. For me, AI is not a shortcut or a visual effect. It is an extension of the same visual reasoning I apply on set. Every prompt is approached with the mindset of classical image composition. Light, framing, depth, and atmosphere are considered with intention. Whether an image is captured through a lens or constructed through an algorithm, the goal remains the same. The work should feel authentic, cinematic, and grounded.
Practice & Experience
I have worked as a Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Editor, and Technical Advisor across commercial and narrative contexts. This range allows me to move fluidly between concept, execution, and post-production while maintaining visual consistency. In 2025, I formally integrated generative AI into my workflow. Since then, I have developed hybrid production systems that connect cinematography, color grading, and generative image making into a cohesive practice.
My Swiss background informs a disciplined and reliable approach to production. Time spent in California shaped a collaborative mindset and openness to experimentation. Together, these influences define how I work with teams, clients, and ideas.

At the Intersection of Film and AI
I work at the intersection of traditional cinematography and generative AI. Hands-on camera experience gives me a deep understanding of visual craft. AI allows that knowledge to evolve beyond physical constraints.
At the core of my work is a commitment to capturing something real. Whether through the tactile presence of analog processes or the flexibility of AI-driven creation, I focus on images with weight, clarity, and intention. As a collaborative partner, I bring both technical expertise and adaptive creative thinking. I support projects that value craft, experimentation, and visual precision.
